Lindsey Wismer had a personal goal to become a healthcare provider since the age of 5. She achieved that after obtaining her credentials as both an Adult and a Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner, after graduating from MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, MA. Prior to graduate school, Lindsey Wismer received her undergraduate degree in Exercise & Sport Science from Oregon State University. Additionally, Lindsey Wismer is a certified personal trainer, and a former group exercise instructor, and basketball coach. Lindsey Wismer’s current pursuits include furthering her advanced education in general Functional Medicine topics, with a special interest in management of hormonal distress (Premenstrual syndrome, perimenopause/menopause), Exercise optimization, SIBO and other related GI imbalances, and Metabolic Syndromes including obesity. Additionally, she has expertise in contraceptive care for  persons needing pregnancy protection. She is also happy to see you for the common cold, cough, or back strain.

Personal Goals

Lindsey strives to focus on preventative care, which continually encourages optimization of nutrition, exercise, stress management, and sleep- the cornerstone areas that impact our health and wellness the most. Her clinic environment is one that offers education, empathy, and partnered decision-making, while striving to make sure her patients feel heard, respected, and treated as individuals. She is a provider that will work with you to safely reduce the need for prescription medications, and/or offer a plethora of alternate way to manage medical conditions. Ultimately, Lindsey wants each patient to leave her exam room feeling empowered about their own health, with the ability to make impactful change in order to live a longer, healthier, and happier life. 
In her free time Lindsey enjoys strength training, enjoying the PNW outdoors, cooking, traveling, going to baseball games, and cheering on the Trail Blazers and OSU Beavers. Lindsey Wismer is currently taking new patients.
