Q: I am trying to register, but the portal does not recognize my information?
A: PLD’s database only keeps the last 12 months worth of statements. And since registering for the portal requires information from an actual statement, the system will not recognize someone’s registration information if we have not sent them a statement within the past year. We posed a possible workaround to PLD and they are testing it to see if it would work, but in the meantime, patients can either one-time pay as a guest, or they can wait until we send them a bill to register.
Q: I am trying to make a one-time payment as a guest, but the system is asking me for an invoice number?
A: The one-time payment option does have a field where the patient can enter an invoice number, but it is not a required field to be completed. Only the fields with a red asterisk are required.
Q: I am trying to register on my phone, but it doesn’t allow me to enter my payment information?
A: A couple of people have brought this to our attention and it appears the best way to register is to do it on a computer rather than a phone. Once the registration is completed on a computer, navigating the portal with a phone seems to work without issue.
