SETH MERRITT, LMT, FNP, CATOM, CLS

Seth Merritt obtained his credentials as a Family Nurse Practitioner in the state of Oregon after graduating from Oregon Health Sciences University here in Portland, OR. He is certified with Advanced Training in Bariatric and Obesity Medicine; one of only a few medical practitioners in Oregon state with this specialty.  He is also a Clinical Lipid Specialist (cholesterol specialist), one of only a few medical practitioners in Oregon with this specialty.  He is also a licensed massage therapist who is actively pursuing licensure in personal training.

His practice is devoted to family medicine with the specialized treatment of obesity and lipids in adults and children using changes in dietary foods to help maximize weight loss and reduce disease. Through positive lifestyle changes, exercise and individualized food regimen, Seth is driven to help patients eliminate medications for blood pressure, cholesterol, thyroid disorders, GERD, and especially diabetes.

Accomplished in his field, Seth has spoken at various medical conferences about the practice of weight management and weight loss in adults and children.

Seth is taking new patients and looks forward to educating and supporting your transition toward better health. His top priority is working with any and all of your current health providers to help develop a treatment strategy for your long term success.
